Outdoor rules in United States

Outdoor gambling ads restricted

Only state-licensed operators may advertise, and only in states with legal betting or iGaming. Outdoor is allowed with state limits: Massachusetts (205 CMR 256) bars ads at schools and where 25% of the audience is under 21, and Ohio (OAC 3775-16-08) bars campus advertising. Check each state's rules.

  • No ads at K-12 schools or aimed at college campuses (MA, OH)
  • Digital billboards must show responsible-gaming messaging throughout (MA 256.06)
  • No ads aimed at under-21s
