AGCO advertising compliance in Ontario, Canada
Ontario is the only open, competitive online gambling market in Canada. Private operators sign an agreement with iGaming Ontario and are registered by the AGCO, and every advertisement must follow the Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming, which are stricter on inducements and athlete endorsements than most European codes.

Licence requirement
We only run media for operators registered with the AGCO and live on the iGaming Ontario platform. Grey-market or unregistered brands cannot be advertised to Ontario audiences at all, and creative must not promote bonuses, credits or free play to the general public.
How we run each channel under AGCO
Display advertising
Display runs against 19+ audiences only, with no bonus or inducement messaging in public-facing placements, no youth-appealing creative, and responsible-gambling resources plus ConnexOntario support details in every variant.
Video and CTV
Video and CTV follow the same 19+ floor and inducement ban, with no active or retired athlete endorsements and no content that portrays gambling as a way to achieve financial or social success.
DOOH and outdoor
Outdoor and DOOH are treated as general-audience media: no inducements, no athlete endorsements, and screens near schools or youth facilities are excluded from the buy.
